Josh Allain (pronounced uh-LAYN; born on January 29, 1991) is an illustrator based in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Using pencil, paper, Sharpie marker, collage, and Adobe Photoshop, his work is inspired by astronomy, music, and psychedelia. The grandson of 3-time Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis (1935 – 2022), Josh earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in general fine arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014. He has exhibited in group shows at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Main Line Art Center, Tattooed Mom Restaurant & Bar, and New York City's Mriya Gallery, among other locations.
